Labels:text | font | screenshot OCR: Sumner formed the band Warsaw with Peter Hook in December of 1976. They soon met lan Curtis, who became Warsaw's lead singer and lyricist. Stephen Morris became the band's drummer in August 1977 after the departure of their first drummer, Steve Brotherdale. On the strength of their live gigs, Warsaw was offered a contract with RCA. However, the band soon became disillusioned by a lack of control over their music.
